Forgotten Password

Procedure for a Forgotten Password for the ČD Website www.cd.cz

If you have forgotten your password, proceed as follows:

1. On www.cd.cz select "Log in" in the top right.

2. From the following menu select "Did you forget your login information?" or after an unsuccessful login attempt select the option "I forgot my password".

3. In either case, a form will appear where you can enter your e-mail address, which is also your username. Then correctly copy the letters from the picture and confirm by clicking "Send".

4. Then information will appear about sending instructions for changing your password to your e-mail account.

5. Log into your e-mail account, where you will find an e-mail in your inbox containing instructions. Open this e-mail and chick on the link contained within or, should you encounter difficulties, copy it (according to the instructions) into the address bar of your web browser.

6. Enter your new password into the window that appears. The password must be composed of at least six characters from at least two of the following categories: lower-case letters, upper-case letters, numbers and other characters. Example of a valid password: Jaro2010. Confirm the new password by clicking "Change".

7. After successfully changing your password you will be asked to log into your account. Enter your login information and confirm to log in.

8. On your next login you will be able to use the option at the top right of your screen (see point no. 2). You can easily verify that you have logged in successfully because your name will be displayed in the login area.
