An In-karta card with the IN 25 application costs CZK 990 and is valid for three years. Juniors from 15 to 26 years of age (until the day preceding the day of their 26th birthday) pay only CZK 330 for it. Children from 6 to 15 years of age also pay the discounted price of CZK 330. Also available are variants with 1-year and 2-year terms of validity.

To try out all the advantages of the In-karta card, you can purchase the IN 25 START application valid for 3 months for CZK 150. It can be purchased for a new or continuing In-karta card.

A 25% discount on inland transport is provided on one-way, return and commuter tickets. It is also possible to purchase SporoTiket Česko tickets at discounted prices. If you purchase the IN 25 discount for 3 years straightaway, you will also receive the RailPlus discount on international tickets.

How do I obtain the IN 25 discount on an In-karta card?
You can obtain an In-karta card with the IN 25 application by filling in a request form, submitting a photograph and paying the fee for the selected application at the ticket counter. You can pick up a request form from a ticket counter or download one from the internet. You can also submit a request for an In-karta card online.

I purchased a new In-karta card with the IN 50 application for one year. After this year is over, I’m interested in the IN 25 application for 3 years. How should I proceed?
It is only possible to purchase additional applications through the end of the In-karta card’s “physical” term of validity, which is displayed in the lower right corner of the card. Because an In-karta card has a “physical” term of validity of 3 years, a customer can, e.g. after one year, purchase only applications which “fit” onto the card, i.e. with at most a two-year term of validity. If you require an application with a three-year term of validity, you must request a new In-karta card.

What does “RailPlus” mean?
RailPlus is an international railway discount. Thanks to the red RailPlus logo on your In-karta card, you can also enjoy discounts for travel around Europe. In the Czech Republic, a discount is provided on reservations as part of the RailPlus offer. You will receive the RailPlus discount if you purchase the IN 25 discount for 3 years.

Do I still need the RailPlus discount to get a discount on reservations?
From 11 December 2011, discounts on reservations are no longer linked to the RailPlus discount. For category R, Ex, EC and IC trains, reservations are sold for a uniform price regardless of whether you have an In-karta card. For SC trains, holders of an In-karta card with a customer application (IN 25, IN 50, IN 100, IN junior, IN senior) can purchase reservations at a discounted price.

How long does it take to issue an In-karta card?
From the day the request is submitted, it takes roughly 4 weeks to produce and issue the chip card. You can use the discounted fare for travel immediately, however, because you will receive a so-called provisional In-karta card resembling a regular ticket, which is valid until your chip In-karta card is ready.

Can I purchase discounted reservations and international tickets using my provisional In-karta card?
Discounted reservations for category SC trains are linked to an In-karta card with a customer application, so you can even purchase these reservations with a provisional In-karta card. Discounts on international tickets and reservations are linked to the red RailPlus logo, which is only on the final chip version of your In-karta card. If you insist on your RailPlus discount, however, we will issue you a temporary paper In-karta/RailPlus card. It will be necessary, however, for you to submit an extra photograph.

Can I purchase the IN 25 application at a discounted price if I’m 26 years old?
No. You can only obtain the IN 25 application at a discounted price from 15 to 26 years of age, i.e. until the day preceding the day of your 26th birthday.

Can I purchase SporoTiket Česko tickets at a discounted price using a provisional In-karta card?
Yes.

I’ve heard about the “Z-karta card” and the “In-zákazník” application. Is there something like that?
The “Karta Z” or “Z-karta card” and the “In-zákazník” application were the predecessors of the IN 25 offer. The “Z-karta card” was issued as a paper discount card and the “In-zákazník” application was issued on a chip In-karta card.
