Terms and conditions of First Minute Europe (Včasná jízdenka Evropa) tickets to Denmark

Tickets can be purchased from any NRT ČD point (NRT = generally stations for fast trains to which international sales can be realised) to any NRT DSB point provided there is an available connection.

Tickets can be purchased no earlier than 90 days prior to the departure date. Sales are terminated 3 days (for tickets in 1st carriage class) or 1 day (for tickets in 2nd carriage class) prior to the departure date, or when the allocated contingent of tickets has been sold out.

On the Prague – Copenhagen route, passengers as well as the entire train are transported on a ferry (on the ferry you can shop in stores and buy refreshments in restaurants) in the Puttgarden – Roedby segment.

What you need to know

• tickets are issued with an obligatory cross-border train between the Czech Republic and the neighbouring country
• the ticket’s term of validity is 2 days, and the journey must be commenced on the first day of validity
• the price of a (seat) reservation is not included in the fare, but we recommend that you purchase a reservation
• the ticket price is final; we do not grant any additional discounts (e.g. for children, pensioners or In Karta cardholders)
• the ticket can be returned for reasons on the passenger’s side no later than by 24:00 (midnight) on the day preceding the first day of the ticket’s term of validity with a service charge of 10%, but no less than EUR 10 per person
• tickets can be purchased with a boarding station in the Czech Republic or Denmark

With a First Minute Europe (Včasná jízdenka Evropa) ticket to Denmark, you can purchase tickets for accompanying children (son, daughter, granddaughter, grandson) under 15 years of age at a discounted fare.

• at the ticket counter for a fee of CZK 50
• by telephone on the ČD Contact Centre telephone line on (+420) 221 111 122 (in the form of a TeleTiket for a fee of CZK 50 as part of a single telephone order)

When purchasing at a ticket counter, a service fee in the amount of CZK 50 is charged for each First Minute (Včasnou jízdenka) ticket.

Prices of international tickets are fixed in EUR and converted into Czech crowns according to the valid Uniform Railway Exchange rate.
