Sleeper and couchette carriages included in EuroNight (EN) trains offer comfortable overnight travel over long distances. They generally include 2nd class and even 1st class seating carriages with a limited number of seats. A network of overnight trains covers all of Europe and facilitates travel to your favourite foreign destinations. Direct overnight connections from the Czech Republic will take you to Slovakia, Ukraine, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Italy, France, Switzerland, Russia, Belarus, Serbia, Montenegro and Croatia. You can purchase refreshments from sleeper and couchette carriage conductors. To travel aboard sleeper or couchette carriages, it is always necessary to purchase a reservation (sleeper or couchette supplement) in addition to your ticket. To ensure that you will have a seat, it is necessary to procure a seat reservation. Certain trains require reservations. Some overnight trains are commissioned and co-financed by the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic, while others are operated without co-financing at the carriers’ own commercial risk.
