IDPK – Plzeň Region Integrated Transport

Valid from 1.7.2020

IDP – Integrovaná doprava Plzeňska

What is Plzeň Region Integrated Transport?

Do you commute to work or school every day? In the Plzeň Region, you can use IDPK (Plzeň Region Integrated Transport) travel documents on our trains.

Effective 1 July 2020, only IDPK travel documents will be issued for travel (journeys) within the Plzeň Region on regional (Os) and regional fast (Sp) trains. Travel documents per the ČD tariff will only be issued for journeys between stations served by fast (R) trains within the Plzeň Region and for so-called interregional journeys between the Plzeň Region and other regions in the Czech Republic. This does not apply to tickets per the ČD tariff issued through the ČD e-shop or through ČD’s “Můj vlak” (“My Train”) mobile app; on these platforms, tickets per the ČD tariff will continue to be issued for so-called intraregional routes within the Plzeň Region aboard Os and Sp trains.

In specified railway line segments, passengers can use IDPK travel documents for travel in 2nd carriage class on long-distance trains only if they are connecting travel documents of different tariffs (IDPK and ČD), and only if they do so at tariff points where the long-distance train stops for passenger boarding and disembarking. This does not apply to the R16 service in the Klatovy – Železná Ruda-Alžbětín segment, which is ticketed as a regional fast (Sp) train.
