On one Group Weekend Ticket (Skupinová víkendová jízdenka), up to 5 passengers travelling together, of whom only 2 may be 15 years of age or older, may travel on ČD trains anywhere in the Czech Republic or in a selected region on a Saturday, Sunday or state holiday. This means the following maximum combinations: 2 adults + 3 children, 1 adult + 4 children, or 5 children. And these needn’t constitute a family; it is not necessary to demonstrate any familial relationships between passengers.
A Group Weekend Ticket (Skupinová víkendová jízdenka) purchased in the ČD e-shop IS NOT VALID on the trains of other rail carriers in the Czech Republic or for journeys to a foreign destination.
The ticket is always valid on a Saturday, Sunday or state holiday until 24:00 (midnight) on all categories of ČD trains including bus lines on which the ČD tariff is valid.
