Usage and Conditions of the City Star Ticket

The ticket is always a round trip
Tickets are offered for 1st or 2nd class
Advance sales start up to 2 months before departure
Passengers 2nd to 5th receive a discount of up to 50% off the fare for the first passenger when traveling abroad
Holders of In Card with a valid application and their fellow travelers are additionally economically advantaged when traveling to Croatia
The age limit for children is from 6 to 18 years; children under 6 years are transported free of charge
For domestic sections, regular fare or customer fare for In Card holders with a valid application is paid (it is sufficient if only one passenger in the group has an In Card); when traveling to Slovakia, customer fare is provided to all, with a discount for children
The validity of the ticket is 1 month (for CityStar tickets issued from the ČD e-shop, the ticket is valid for 2 days on the way there and 2 days on the way back)
Transfer to a higher class and change of transport route are not allowed (except for City Star Slovakia); interruption of the journey is not allowed
The ticket can be returned due to passenger reasons only before the first day of validity; no refund is made for partially unused tickets

Requirements for Traveling with a City Star Ticket

Purchase it no later than 3 days before departure (this condition does not apply to City Star to Slovakia, which can be purchased on the day of departure)
When using mandatory reserved trains, it is necessary to purchase the corresponding reservation for CityStar tickets (seating, couchette, or sleeper supplement)

We do not sell round-trip City Star tickets to Poland; we offer a more advantageous MOST round-trip ticket or the Multilateral Agreement offer.

Examples of City Star Tickets

City Star Ticket Brno - Bratislava and back, 2nd class

For 2 people, the price is approximately 928 CZK (37.40 euros)
For 3 people, the price is approximately 1339 CZK (54 euros)

For City Star Slovakia, no additional discount is provided for the In Card, and the customer fare applies to all passengers, even without the In Card.

City Star Ticket Prague - Budapest and back, 2nd class

Without In Card/RAILPLUS:

For 2 people, the price is approximately 5585 CZK (225.20 euros)
For 3 people, the price is approximately 8204 CZK (330.80 euros)

If at least one of the fellow travelers has an In Card with a valid application:

For 2 people, the price is approximately 4524 CZK (182.40 euros)
For 3 people, the price is approximately 6612 CZK (266.60 euros)

Prices for international tickets and supplements are fixed in euros and converted to crowns according to the valid uniform railway exchange rate.
