Terms and conditions of First Minute Europe (Včasná jízdenka Evropa) tickets

• the ticket can be purchased in the e-shop, at the ticket counter selling international tickets (for a service fee of CZK 50 per person), by phone at 221 111 122 (for a fee of CZK 50 per complete telephone order), to selected countries and on the ČD mobile website and the My Train mobile application
• pre-sale of tickets is usually launched between 60 and 90 days before the departure date (unless otherwise specified)
• for most destinations it is possible to purchase tickets for both 1st and 2nd class. There is no supplement for 1st class or any other service.
• The number of tickets at these attractive prices is limited to the given contingent
• the price of the ticket depends on the selected route, carriage class, service category, time of purchase and the period for which the ticket is purchased. For each train, route, day, carriage class and possible accommodation service (bed) a limited number (contingent) of tickets is set.
• We provide discounts on the FME/VJE ticket for children up to 15 years of age, students up to 26 years of age (with an ŽZ ČR or ISIC card) and for passengers 65+.
• To Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Belgium, it is possible to purchase a ticket for an adult and a ticket for an accompanied child up to the age of 15 at a very discounted fare. Abroad, these children travel free of charge, while travelling in the Czech Republic they pay a 50% discount. 
• The validity of the ticket is 2 days, the journey must start on the 1st day of validity and the condition of using the mandatory cross-border train between the Czech Republic and the neighbouring country printed on the ticket must be met for the journey. When travelling to Germany and Austria, the other connections in these countries listed on the ticket must also be observed, this also applies to journeys in transit through Germany and Austria. The compulsory train must be used for its entire route within the framework of the concluded transport contract
• the ticket to Ukraine cannot be returned or exchanged for reasons on the passenger's side. FME/VJE tickets issued to other countries may be returned for reasons attributable to the passenger within 24 hours of the day preceding the first day of validity, with a deduction of EUR 3 per person, after which the deduction is 100 %.
• overnight trains for travel abroad between the Czech Republic and Germany, Austria, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Switzerland are compulsorily seat-only and the price of the reservation (bed or couchette) is automatically included in the ticket price. Daily long-distance trains between the Czech Republic and Poland, SC Pendolino trains to Slovakia are compulsorily seat-ticketed and the reservation price (seat) is automatically included in the ticket price
• tickets to the Netherlands and Ukraine purchased in the e-shop must always be printed on your own printer (on A4 paper) and marked by the ČD conductor or at the ČD ticket office before leaving the Czech Republic. An unmarked ticket is not valid in the countries mentioned (except for the Netherlands).
• A couchette or sleeper service can be purchased for the Early Europe ticket only within 1 joint purchase, if a contingent of couchettes or sleepers is available. The couchette or sleeper supplements purchased with a separate purchase (outside the FME/VJE contingent) and presented together with the FME/VJE ticket will not be accepted for carriage.

The current prices and availability of FME/VJE tickets for specific journeys are available at the time of purchase (price enquiry) in the e-shop, at the ticket office with international documents or at the ČD Contact Centre.

Current prices and availability of the First Minute Europe (Včasná jízdenka Evropa) offer for specific routes are available at the moment of purchase (price enquiry) in the e-shop, at a ČD ticket counter equipped to issue international travel documents, or at the ČD Contact Centre on tel. +420 221 111 122.

When purchasing at a ticket counter, a service fee in the amount of CZK 50 is charged for each First Minute (Včasnou jízdenka) ticket.

Prices of international tickets are fixed in EUR and converted into Czech crowns according to the valid Uniform Railway Exchange rate.
