The Discount for Groups offers

discount tied only to the number of accompanying passengers
discount of up to 20-40% off the basic NRT fare according to offer in individual European countries

Terms and conditions of the Discount for Groups

number of passengers in a group – at least 6 passengers
a discount for children is provided for children under 12 years of age (or under 15 years of age in the case of neighbourly transport with Slovakia)
when issuing return tickets, the outbound and return journey must use the same transport route
ticketing with a single common ticket
ticketing with a single common ticket

Discounts for groups in international transport are not offered by ZRS (Bosnia and Herzegovina), FS/Trenitalia (Italy), ONCFM (Morocco), RENFE (Spain) or SJ (Sweden).

For a lesser number of passengers travelling on a group ticket, it is necessary to have the lesser number of passengers confirmed at the ticket office prior to boarding the train. If the ticket office at the boarding station is closed, non-use is confirmed by the conductor on the train.
