From Saturday, April 23, 2022, the timetable of long-distance trains of the Ex3 line from Prague via Brno to Břeclav and further to Austria, Slovakia and Hungary will be adjusted.
České dráhy has received, this day, from the European Commission its Statement of Objections in the so-called “Falcon” investigation case. This case has been investigated for about ten years and concerns the alleged abuse of a predominant position on the part of České dráhy on the Praha – Ostrava line.
Starting on 1 February 2019 we are offering new types of tickets that significantly simplify our offering. You will easily recognise from the ticket’s name whether it can be used only on one specific train or on any ČD train. Also, affordable travel is now available to everyone even without using multiple tickets.
After two years, ČD’s Můj vlak (“My Train”) application has hundreds of thousands of users.
The summer change to the timetable contains only minor modifications to train journeys. The extent of changes is relatively small for long-distance trains, as well as for regional transport in individual regions. The Vysočina Region ordered more connections between Žďár nad Sázavou and Nové Město na Moravě.
