Terms and conditions of First Minute Europe (Včasná jízdenka Evropa) tickets to Belgium

Tickets can be purchased from the Czech Republic from any NRT ČD point (NRT = generally stations for fast trains to which international sales can be realised) to any NRT NSCB point in Belgium provided there is an existing train connection.

Tickets can be purchased no earlier than 90 days prior to the departure date. Sales are terminated 3 days (for tickets in 1st carriage class) or 1 day (for tickets in 2nd carriage class) prior to the departure date, or when the allocated contingent of tickets has been sold out.

We offer tickets for 1st or 2nd carriage class.

What you need to know

tickets are issued with an obligatory cross-border train between the Czech Republic and the neighbouring country
the ticket’s term of validity is 2 days, and the journey must be commenced on the first day of validity
the price of a (seat) reservation is not included in the fare, but we recommend that you purchase a reservation
for First Minute Europe (FME/VJE) tickets, we grant discounts on the territory of the Czech Republic for children under 15 years of age, students under 26 years of age (with student ID or ISIC) and for passengers 65 years of age and older.
the ticket can be returned for reasons on the passenger’s side no later than by 24:00 (midnight) on the day preceding the first day of the ticket’s term of validity with a service charge of 3 EUR per person

FAQs

Is it sufficient if I show the conductor a ticket purchased in the e-shop on my laptop screen?

Yes. A ticket can be presented as a document printed in A4 format in an unreduced size or displayed on a personal electronic device. It is not possible, however, to simply announce the transaction code, as is the case when travelling in the Czech Republic.

Can I purchase a ticket in a ticket office as well?

Yes. But First Minute Europe (Včasná jízdenka Evropa) ticket purchases at the ticket counter are subject to a service charge of CZK 50 for each person.
