Slovácký expres

Take a trip to Luhačovice quickly and comfortably aboard a higher-quality fast (Rx) train...

“Slovácký Express” is the collective name of the higher-quality fast (Rx) trains operating as line R18 on the Prague – Přerov – Luhačovice route. Along the way, they stop e.g. in Pardubice, Česká Třebová, Olomouc, Otrokovice, Staré Město u Uherského Hradiště and Uherské Hradiště. A new aspect of this year’s timetable is a significant reduction in the travel time from Bohemia to Slovácko (Moravian Slovakia), e.g. the journey from Prague to Luhačovice is 19 minutes shorter. The Slovácký Express offers 1st and 2nd class travel in open carriages as well as in carriages with individual compartments. Most of the carriages have been modernised and equipped with air-conditioning and electrical sockets for small electronic devices. In one of the 2nd class carriages, you will find a compartment reserved for passengers travelling with children under 10 years of age. The trains are able to transport bicycles, prams and strollers, as well as other bulky luggage. The trains are commissioned and co-financed by the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic.
