Terms and conditions of MPS Jakuszyce tickets

Travel documents can be purchased in all ČD and KD (Koleje Dolnosląskie) ticket offices and from conductors on the train, in e-shop ČD, or in Můj vlak app.

ČD sells travel documents in advance sales up to 60 days prior to departure and KD does so up to 30 days prior to departure.

In passenger ticket offices and on ČD trains, it is possible to pay the fare in CZK or EUR.

When purchasing from ČD conductors on international trains in the Tanvald – Szklarska Poręba segment and return (and on certain other trains and segments on lines 035 and 036), it is possible to pay in CZK or PLN, and possibly also in EUR.

In passenger ticket offices of the carrier Koleje Dolnosląskie (including the ticket office at the Szklarska Poręba Górna station), it is possible to pay in PLN only.

The following lines are included in Local Border Traffic (MPS)

• 036 Liberec – Szklarska Poręba Górna and return
• 035 Železný Brod – Tanvald and return
• 034 Josefův Důl – Smržovka and return
• 240 Szklarska Poręba Górna – Jelenia Góra – Wałbrzych – Wrocław and return

Types of travel documents issued

• for adults (15 and older) – one-way or return
• for children (under 6) – the child will a receive a ticket with a zero price
• for children (6-14) – one-way or return, not necessary to demonstrate eligibility for a child fare
• for bicycles – one-way only
• for dogs – one-way only

Validity of travel documents

• a one-way ticket is valid until 6:00 (a.m.) on the day following the first day of its term of validity
• a return ticket is valid until 24:00 (midnight) on the day following the day indicated on the ticket as its first day of validity
• the journey must be commenced on the first day of the ticket’s term of validity; it is not permitted to interrupt the journey

Transporting bicycles and dogs

Bicycles can be transported as part of the MPS (Local Border Traffic) Jakuszyce offer on the selected route using a one-way document for CZK 50. Dogs outside of a completely enclosed container can be transported as part of the MPS (Local Border Traffic) Jakuszyce offer on the selected route using a one-way document for CZK 30.
