By Train to Brussels

Currently, there is no direct connection between the Czech Republic and Belgium, but you can comfortably travel from Prague, Ústí nad Labem, or Plzeň to the capital city of Brussels with transfers in Germany. On selected connections, you can purchase an advantageous Early Bird Ticket Europe. For example, you can depart from Prague's main station in the morning and arrive in Brussels in the evening after three transfers. Similarly, you can travel back with an afternoon arrival in Prague.

Belgium is a coastal state on the North Sea coast, historically composed of two culturally distinct regions – Flemish and Walloon. It borders the Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg, and France. The capital city is also the headquarters of the European Union and NATO.

Brussels

The capital city, hosting many international institutions, is a unique Babylon, quite different from the rest of the country. Among its symbols are the statue of a peeing boy or the Atomium, and the Grande-Place square, considered the historic center of Brussels, is also worth a visit.

Bruges

The hundred-thousand city, dubbed the "Venice of the North," boasts a network of water canals connected to the Reie River, giving it an original atmosphere. The city center is the historical Markt square with the dominant Belfried tower. You can also visit some of the many museums or churches.

Signal de Botrange

The highest mountain in the country, located in the Hoge Venen plateau in the eastern part of the country, reaches a height of 694 m above sea level. In 1923, a six-meter "extension" with stairs was built at its summit, so visitors could reach an altitude of 700 meters. In 1934, the mountain's peak was further enhanced with a stone tower reaching a height of 718 m above sea level.
