What is the Flexi Ticket?

Basic one-way tickets at the regular fare according to the distance travelled for anyone not taking advantage of our attractive offers or discounts.

Where and how to purchase a ticket?

in the ČD e-shop, on the ČD mobile website on m.cd.cz, or in the Můj vlak (“My Train”) mobile application
from a conductor on the train (if you’re travelling from a station where the ČD ticket office wasn’t open)

What the Flexi Ticket offers

Valid for one journey on any train of ČD
A basic Flexi Ticket can be purchased at any time for 2nd class or 1st class
The price does not change and depends solely on the distance travelled
It is necessary to commence the journey on the first day of the ticket’s term of validity. When purchasing in the ČD e-shop, the journey must be commenced no earlier than at the time specified on the ticket
After travelling 100 km, it is possible to disembark from the train and to complete the journey aboard any train by midnight on the following day
In Karta discounts are valid with Flexi Tickets
They can be purchased up to 2 months prior to travel

If you purchase a ticket in the ČD e-shop, you will receive a free seat reservation for long-distance ČD trains, with the exception of SC seat reservations and Business seat reservations for railjet trains.

This ticket cannot be used for intra-regional journeys by Regional trains (Os) and Regional fast trains (Sp) in the territory of the South Moravian Region and the Zlín Region.

Schedule of regular one-way ticket fares

The price of a Flexi Ticket depends on the tariff distance and the selected carriage class. Tariff distance is determined for the actual transport route between railway tariff points (railway stations) according to the kilometres specified in the timetable of the railway operator or the timetable of a contractual bus carrier, and ranges from at least 1 km to at most 600 km.

If a passenger uses 1st class for only part of the route or on several non-contiguous segments, separate fare upgrades to 1st class will be added to the price of a 2nd class ticket for all segments in which 1st class is used. The price of the fare upgrade for each segment is calculated as the difference between the prices of a Flexi Ticket (regular fare) in 1st and 2nd class for the distance for which 1st class is used.

Is a one-way ticket at the regular fare linked to a specific train or connection?

No. You can use a one-way ticket at the regular fare at any time during its term of validity aboard any ČD train on the route specified on the ticket. You must always start your journey on the first day of the ticket’s term of validity. If you miss your planned train, for example, you can use the same ticket on the next ČD train.

How long is a regular one-way ticket valid?

One-way tickets for distances up to 50 km are valid until 6:00 a.m. on the day following the first day of validity. One-way tickets for distances of 51 km or more are valid until 24:00 (midnight) on the day following the first day of validity. In either case, however, you must always start your journey on the first day of the ticket’s term of validity.

Does the state regulate the price of the regular fare?

Yes. The price of the regular fare is regulated by an assessment of the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic.
