Conditions for Special Fares for Pupils and Students Aged 18 to 26

Pupils and students aged 18 to 26 prove their right to a 50% discount on the price of Flexi tickets, Flexi discount tickets, Fixed tickets, or Track tickets for 2nd class with a valid student ID card or ISIC card. In the case of extended validity of the plastic ISIC card, a valid ISIC revalidation stamp is required.

Student ID Card

The student ID card form can be purchased at the cashier counter for 5 CZK. On this form:

• the pupil (legal representative) or student fills out: name, surname, date of birth
• the school fills out on the front side: information about the duration of the school or academic year; on the back: name and location of the school, stamp, and signature
• the carrier fills out on the front side: hologram on student IDs, station stamp, and signature

The student ID card can be issued for students of primary and secondary schools until 30.9. of the following school year. For university students until the end of the current academic year (at the latest until 31.10.). But always no later than the day before their 26th birthday.

The completed form is confirmed on the spot at the cashier counter for 50 CZK based on the presentation of a personal document issued by a state authority and a photograph with straight or rounded corners measuring 35 x 45 mm, which shows the current true appearance of the pupil and is not cut out from another photograph.

Student or ISIC Card on In Card

A valid student or ISIC card can be uploaded free of charge at the In Card cashier counter. This way, you can present only the In Card with the uploaded student or ISIC card during ticket inspection on the train.

However, be aware, you must still carry the original card with you.

The price of Special Fares for pupils aged 18 to 26 depends on the tariff distance and chosen class of carriage. The tariff distance is determined for the actual transport route between railway stations according to the kilometers listed in the railway operator's timetable or the contractual bus carrier's timetable and ranges from a minimum of 1 kilometer to a maximum of 600 kilometers.
