The basic Flexi ticket offers
When you buy a ticket in the ČD e-shop or the My Train application, you get a free seat reservation for ČD long-distance trains, with the exception of trains and compartments with mandatory seat reservations. The ticket cannot be used for intra-regional journeys by passenger trains (Os) and fast trains (Sp) in the Zlín, Pilsen, South Moravian and Moravian-Silesian regions. |
Is a one-way ticket at the regular fare linked to a specific train or connection?
No. You can use a one-way ticket at the regular fare at any time during its term of validity aboard any ČD train on the route specified on the ticket. You must always start your journey on the first day of the ticket’s term of validity. If you miss your planned train, for example, you can use the same ticket on the next ČD train.
How long is a regular one-way ticket valid?
One-way tickets for distances up to 50 km are valid until 6:00 a.m. on the day following the first day of validity. One-way tickets for distances of 51 km or more are valid until 24:00 (midnight) on the day following the first day of validity. In either case, however, you must always start your journey on the first day of the ticket’s term of validity.
Does the state regulate the price of the regular fare?
Yes. The price of the full fare is regulated by an assessment of the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic.
