Travel insurance includes the following risks:

Medical expenses insurance: reimbursement of unavoidable and purposefully incurred costs for treatment or treatment of a sudden acute illness or injury, including diagnostic procedures that are directly related to them and that are prescribed by a doctor and stabilize your condition to the extent that you are able to continue your journey or transport back to the territory of the Czech Republic.

Legal protection insurance: asserting your claims against the third party who caused you harm. Also defending your interests if you caused a traffic accident.

Accident insurance: one-time financial payment for permanent consequences caused by an accident or in case of death as a result of an accident.

Liability insurance: compensation for damage for which you are responsible to the injured party and are obliged to compensate it.

Baggage insurance: compensation for travel luggage and personal items usual for the given purpose of the trip, which you took with you on the trip, or for things that you can prove to have acquired during the trip.

Price of travel insurance

Travel insurance can only be purchased in the ČD e-shop in conjunction with a ticket abroad and cannot be purchased separately. When the ticket is returned, the travel insurance is automatically cancelled.
